The Blood Hunter subclass is called a Blood Hunter Order. The Order is chosen at 3rd level. Further Order features arrive at 7th, 11th, 15th, and 18th level.

Order of the Ghostslayer

Ghostslayer is the most directly anti-undead Order.

It improves the Blood Hunter's interaction with undead and expands the effectiveness of core hemocraft systems.

It is the most natural choice when the character concept is a dedicated hunter of undead and creatures tied to death.

Order of the Lycan

Lycan uses controlled lycanthropy as a weapon.

The Order gains a Hybrid Transformation and develops supernatural physical capabilities.

This changes the Blood Hunter's normal weapon and positioning assumptions because transformed combat becomes central.

Order of the Mutant

Mutant specialises in alchemical mutagens.

A mutagen grants a strong benefit while also imposing a defined drawback.

This makes the subclass a preparation and tradeoff specialist.

Order of the Profane Soul

Profane Soul combines hemocraft with a pact to an otherworldly patron.

It gains limited spellcasting inspired by Warlock mechanics and additional Patron-linked interactions.

It remains a Blood Hunter first rather than becoming a full Warlock.

How do you choose an Order?

A simplified comparison is:

Ghostslayer → undead hunting and enhanced hemocraft Lycan → hybrid transformation and close combat Mutant → alchemical preparation and deliberate tradeoffs Profane Soul → limited pact magic and supernatural versatility

What every Order retains

Every Order keeps Hunter's Bane, Blood Maledict, Crimson Rite, Extra Attack, Brands, and later Hemocraft improvements.

The Order changes the method, not the base class.
