Ability scores

Wisdom should be high because it powers technique save DCs and attacks and adds damage through Elemental Adept. Dexterity remains important for weapon attacks, Armor Class, initiative and the Shinobi's martial baseline. Constitution helps when concentration matters.

Choose complementary techniques

A strong list usually mixes single-target pressure, an area option, a control or terrain tool, and at least one technique that remains useful when an enemy resists a common damage type.

Use Secondary Nature to solve gaps

Do not pick the second nature only for theme. Consider what the first nature cannot do well and use the second to widen damage types, targeting profiles or utility.

Spend Elemental Shaping deliberately

The extra Chakra cost is worthwhile when doubling range prevents a wasted turn, expanding an area catches additional targets, Careful preserves allies inside an area effect, or Piercing defeats an otherwise costly resistance.

Remember the martial fallback

When an encounter does not justify spending Chakra, Extra Attack, Shinobi Step and Chakra-Infused Strike still keep the character active.
