Path of the Totem Warrior FAQ
What are the main Path of the Totem Warrior features?
The 2014 Totem Warrior combines spiritual rituals with modular animal totems. Totem Spirit changes how Rage works in combat, Aspect of the Beast adds exploration or physical utility, Spirit Walker provides nature divination, and Totemic Attunement adds another high-level combat benefit. Bear, Eagle, and Wolf choices can be mixed across the progression.
3rd level — Spirit Seeker
Gain ritual access to beast sense and speak with animals through the subclass's spiritual practice.
3rd level — Totem Spirit
Choose Bear, Eagle or Wolf. Bear greatly broadens damage resistance while raging, Eagle improves mobility and escape while raging, and Wolf helps nearby allies attack enemies in melee.
6th level — Aspect of the Beast
Choose a Bear, Eagle or Wolf exploration and physical adaptation. This choice may differ from your 3rd-level Totem Spirit.
10th level — Spirit Walker
Gain ritual access to commune with nature, reinforcing the path's spiritual and exploration identity.
14th level — Totemic Attunement
Choose another Bear, Eagle or Wolf benefit. Bear makes enemies near you worse at attacking allies, Eagle grants temporary flight while raging, and Wolf lets you knock nearby enemies prone after hitting them in melee.
How the features work together
Totem Warrior is defined by independent choices rather than one fixed package. A character can take Bear durability at 3rd level, an Eagle exploration benefit at 6th, and a Wolf combat-control feature at 14th. The ritual features give the path useful identity even when Rage is not active.
