Battle Smith
Weapon combat supported by a Steel Defender.
Battle Smith starts by changing the normal Artificer play pattern through Tool Proficiency; Battle Smith Spells; Battle Ready; Steel Defender, giving the subclass its first clear mechanical identity.
Later features such as Extra Attack, Arcane Jolt, Improved Defender expand that identity at higher levels, so the subclass has a clearer role in combat, exploration, utility, or support.
