Bond with a scaling drake companion and gain draconic damage and flight.
Drakewarden starts by changing the normal Ranger play pattern through Draconic Gift; Drake Companion, giving the subclass its first clear mechanical identity.
Later features such as Bond of Fang and Scale, Drake’s Breath, Perfected Bond expand that identity at higher levels, so the subclass has a clearer role in combat, exploration, utility, or support.
Draconic Gift; Drake Companion
3rd level
Learn Draconic or another language, gain Thaumaturgy, and summon a scaling elemental drake companion.
Bond of Fang and Scale
7th level
Improve the drake, gain elemental resistance, and allow it to serve as a mount.
Drake’s Breath
11th level
Exhale a damaging elemental cone, with limited free use and later scaling.
Perfected Bond
15th level
The drake grows Large, its bite improves, and you can use a reaction
