Fighter subclass
Champion
Improved critical range, physical excellence, and simple reliability.
Champion starts by changing the normal Fighter play pattern through Improved Critical, giving the subclass its first clear mechanical identity.
Later features such as Remarkable Athlete, Additional Fighting Style, Superior Critical expand that identity at higher levels, so the subclass has a clearer role in combat, exploration, utility, or support.
